LLM SEO placements on publishers AI answers already cite.

LLM SEO is the work of making accurate information about your brand available in the sources that large language models and AI search features draw on, such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. It overlaps with classic SEO and digital PR: indexable pages, consistent entity facts and credible third-party coverage all matter.

There is no submission process and no guaranteed method. Publish clear, accurate information on your own site, earn consistent coverage on sources AI answers already use, and answer the specific questions your customers ask. Choosing publishers with recorded citations is one input; it does not promise that a new article will be cited.

These counts measure source appearances in that dataset, not unique articles or mentions of your brand.

Google’s guidance says there are no additional technical requirements or special schema needed for AI Overviews and AI Mode. Supporting pages must be indexed and eligible to appear with a snippet. Meeting those conditions does not guarantee inclusion.

No. A placement can publish an agreed article, but independent corroboration and an AI system’s answers are separate outcomes. Plan around useful, accurate coverage and confirmed publication terms rather than guaranteed rankings, citations or recommendations.
